Josh, the original “Poppa” of Poppa’s Custard, is a native New Yorker, self-taught musician, and chess-lover. He loves to love by feeding and spending time pouring into people. Josh has extensive practical and academic training in general management, business strategy, and operations. He served clients as a consultant for nearly a decade before launching Poppa’s Custard Co. His favorite way to indulge is to write and play music.

Chef Jewel is a powerhouse in the kitchen has been working in the New York restaurant industry for over a decade. She has appeared and competed on several Food Network shows, most recently beating Iron Chef Bobby Flay on his show 'Beat Bobby Flay' in March 2024. Chef Jewel is the current head of pastry at Dirty French NYC and a regular contributor to American Cake decorating magazine. She enjoys sharing her love of food with as many people as possible from teaching toddler cooking classes, conducting zoom chef sessions, Her favorite way to indulge is to find quiet time to experiment with flavors and create adventurous dessert experiences for others.
